Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) into voting for the administration&#8217;s tax cut plan. Because the factory will shut down during Bush&#8217;s visit, the president of the company said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/articles\/A40240-2003May10.html\">workers won&#8217;t get paid<\/a>, though they will have the option of working over the weekend to make up for the missed time.<\/p>\n<p>A White House spokesperson told the Washington Post that they had no comment on the workers&#8217; lost wages but said Bush was looking forward to talking to Nebraskans about his plan to &#8220;put money in their pockets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s great to see that irony is alive and well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Bush will be heading to Nebraska later this week as part of a continuing effort to fool as many people as possible into believing his administration has a plan to create jobs and spur economic growth.
