Since Kerry emerged as the frontrunner, I&#8217;ve considered Feb. 10 something of a firewall for Edwards and Clark, assuming that Kerry would have limited appeal in the region. If the polls are any indication, Edwards and Clark may be splitting the &#8220;Southern&#8221; vote as Kerry continues to excel.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tennessee<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/4218166\/\">Zogby poll<\/a> conducted Feb. 7-8<\/p>\n<p>Kerry &#8212; 45%<br \/>\nEdwards &#8212; 21%<br \/>\nClark &#8212; 19%<br \/>\nDean &#8212; 5%<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/tn\/\">ARG poll<\/a> conducted Feb. 4-6<\/p>\n<p>Kerry &#8212; 32%<br \/>\nEdwards &#8212; 21%<br \/>\nClark &#8212; 20%<br \/>\nDean &#8212; 8%<\/p>\n<p><b>Virginia<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/4218166\/\">Zogby poll<\/a> conducted Feb. 7-8<\/p>\n<p>Kerry &#8212; 47%<br \/>\nEdwards &#8212; 24%<br \/>\nClark &#8212; 11%<br \/>\nDean &#8212; 10%<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/va\/\">ARG poll<\/a> conducted Feb. 4-6<\/p>\n<p>Kerry &#8212; 35%<br \/>\nEdwards &#8212; 22%<br \/>\nClark &#8212; 17%<br \/>\nDean &#8212; 9%<\/p>\n<p>If Kerry wins both of these states tomorrow by double digits, you can pretty much stick a fork in this campaign because the race for the nomination will be done.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow, two key Southern states &#8212; Tennessee and Virginia &#8212; will host delegate-rich primaries (151 delegates between them).
