Last weekend was exciting with three caucuses — Michigan, Washington, and Maine — but this weekend won’t be entirely without interest.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, there will be two more caucuses — Nevada and DC — with a total of 40 delegates at stake. Kerry’s a likely choice for Nevada, especially since he’s the only one<\/a> who’s campaigned there. There haven’t been any polls released recently for either one.<\/p>\n

I don’t know what’s going to happen in DC, but I suspect turnout will be ridiculously low. City voters were invited to participate in a non-binding primary just a month ago, which will likely cause some confusion. I don’t imagine a lot of people will be anxious to join in and not one of the candidates has made any effort to campaign there.<\/p>\n

Also, if you’re not completely sick of the campaign debates yet, there will be another event in Madison<\/a>, Wis., on Sunday, televised on MSNBC. It starts at 6:30 Eastern.<\/p>\n

This debate may be just a little<\/i> better than the other ones — the field is down to five candidates, from 10, which means candidates will be able to talk a bit more and answer more questions. I’ll let you know if there are any fireworks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
