The voting process was pretty wide open &#8212; participants could pick anybody (there were no names to choose from). I&#8217;m not quite sure what to make of the results, but I thought they were interesting enough to mention.<\/p>\n<p>First up, the bloggers&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rightwingnews.com\/mt331\/2007\/10\/rightofcenter_bloggers_select_3.php\">least favorite<\/a> conservatives. (<a href=\"http:\/\/liberalvaluesblog.com\/?p=2237\">via Ron Chusid<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>1. Ron Paul (unranked last year)<br \/>\n2. Pat Buchanan (tied for 1st last year)<br \/>\n3. John McCain (tied for 1st last year)<br \/>\n4. Michael Savage (tied for 3rd last year)<br \/>\n4. Larry Craig (unranked last year)<br \/>\n6. Pat Robertson (tied for 3rd last year)<br \/>\n6. Arlen Specter (5th last year)<br \/>\n8. Ann Coulter (6th last year)<br \/>\n8. James Dobson (15th last year)<br \/>\n8. Chuck Hagel (9th last year)<br \/>\n8. Andrew Sullivan (11th last year)<\/p>\n<p>Other notables from this year&#8217;s list include Rudy Giuliani in 12th place, Mitt Romney and George W. Bush tied for 14th, and Bill O&#8217;Reilly coming in at number 17.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a little surprised at Paul&#8217;s unpopularity; I was pleased to see both Robertson and Dobson make the list (conservative bloggers routinely have little use for the religious right), and I suppose Larry Craig&#8217;s appearance was inevitable.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nAs for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rightwingnews.com\/mt331\/2007\/10\/rightofcenter_bloggers_select_2.php\">favorite conservatives<\/a> among bloggers on the right:<\/p>\n<p>1. Rush Limbaugh (9th last year)<br \/>\n2. Ann Coulter (17th last year)<br \/>\n2. Michelle Malkin (sixth last year)<br \/>\n4. Mark Steyn (tied for fourth last year)<br \/>\n5. Newt Gingrich (11th last year)<br \/>\n6. Thomas Sowell (tied for second last year)<br \/>\n6. Fred Thompson (unranked last year)<br \/>\n8. George W. Bush (tied for fourth last year)<br \/>\n9. Rudy Giuliani (2nd last year)<br \/>\n10. Dick Cheney (10th last year)<br \/>\n10. Laura Ingraham (21st last year)<br \/>\n10.
