In any event, the House Ethics Committee announced yesterday<\/a> that Reps. Kenny Hulshof (R-Mo.) and Mike Doyle (D-Pa.), both relative moderates, will head up a bi-partisan investigative subcommittee to explore who offered Rep. Nick Smith (R-Mich.) a bribe<\/a> on the House floor in exchange for his support for Bush’s Medicare bill.<\/p>\n Joining Hulshof and Doyle on the subcommittee will be John Shadegg (R-Ariz.), and William Delahunt (D-Mass.).<\/p>\n This is all routine. These four lawmakers will start a three-month fact-finding investigation.
