All of the results were released within the last seven days, but most were conducted before Iraq started falling apart at the seems and well before Condi Rice&#8217;s 9\/11 testimony.<\/p>\n<p><b>Florida<\/b> (27 electoral votes)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.news-press.com\/news\/local_state\/040406mason-dixon.html\">Mason-Dixon Poll<\/a> &#8212; Bush 51, Kerry 43<br \/>\n<i>Comment<\/i>: Florida remains entirely unpredictable. Considering this poll&#8217;s eight-point margin, we&#8217;ll just have to hope it&#8217;s an outlier. (Just as an aside, if Bob Graham joins Kerry&#8217;s ticket, the margin drops to 3 points. Hmm.)<\/p>\n<p><b>Michigan<\/b> (17 electoral votes)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/surveyusa.com\/2004_Elections\/MI040405president.pdf\">Survey USA<\/a> &#8212; Kerry 51, Bush 41<br \/>\n<i>Comment<\/i>: Kerry is enjoying huge support among Michigan Dems, but is leading by 10 points because he has a 2 to 1 edge among self-identified independents.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ohio<\/b> (20 electoral votes)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/election\/election-president.php?story=dispatch\/2004\/04\/04\/20040404-A1-02.html\">Columbus Dispatch<\/a> &#8212; Bush 46, Kerry 45<br \/>\n<i>Comment<\/i>: The happiest people in the world right now are the station managers in Ohio who know millions of advertising dollars are coming their way.<\/p>\n<p><b>Minnesota<\/b> (10 electoral votes)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/stories\/784\/4704529.html\">Minneapolis Star-Tribune<\/a> &#8212; Kerry 50, Bush 38, Nader 8<br \/>\n<i>Comment<\/i>: The only state in the Union to vote Dem in each of the last seven presidential elections looks like it&#8217;ll go eight for eight.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<b>California<\/b> (55 electoral votes)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?file=\/c\/a\/2004\/04\/06\/MNGPO616OS1.DTL\">Survey and Policy Research Institute<\/a> &#8212; Bush approval rating is down to just 38%<br \/>\n<i>Comment<\/i>: The poll didn&#8217;t do a head-to-head general election match-up, which is kind of annoying, but these results were just devastating for Bush. A majority disapproves of his job performance and a plurality believes, generally speaking, that Bush cannot be counted to tell the nation the truth. Ouch.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, the <a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/presballot\/\">American Research Group released a national poll<\/a> just a couple of hours ago.
