It is confirmed by several former Clinton aides from the time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sounds like pretty good advice at the time, doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>But to remind everyone that perception and reality sometimes have nothing to do with one another, the WSJ added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bush backers revel in a <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/0,,SB108308289058894776,00.html?mod=article-outset-box\">new Harris poll<\/a> showing slightly more blame Clinton than Bush for not doing more to prevent the 9\/11 attacks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sigh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Wall Street Journal had an interesting news brief today about Clinton&#8217;s advice to Bush over international priorities upon leaving office.
