As I mentioned earlier, Bush will be hosting a White House event tonight, celebrating the National Day of Prayer<\/a> with evangelical Christian leaders. As the Washington Post noted, it’ll be broadcasted, but only to a limited TV audience.<\/p>\n

For Bush, the broadcast is an opportunity to address a sympathetic evangelical audience without the risk of alienating secular or non-Christian viewers, because it will not be carried in full by the major television networks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hmm. If Bush is inclined to say bizarre and offensive things when he knows we’re watching, who knows what he’ll say when he thinks he’s only talking to his evangelical friends?<\/p>\n

That’s why I was so glad to get an email this afternoon from my friend Darrell, who had some good news — you can watch tonight’s event online.<\/p>\n

The Christian Television Network will show the ceremony online here<\/a>; Cornerstone Television will broadcast it here<\/a>, and the ever-popular TBN will be showing at 10pm Eastern on a 2-hour delay here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As Darrell noted, the Christian Television Network and Cornerstone Television broadcasts will require Windows Media Player 9, while TBN can be viewed on either Windows Media or RealPlayer.<\/p>\n
