As you know, the House passed a $726 billion cut while the Senate has endorsed a $350 billion cut.<\/p>\n<p>DeLay was cagey about any talk of paring down the larger tax cut. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2003\/04\/03\/opinion\/03THU1.html?ex=1050423935&#038;ei=1&#038;en=12ed63ae7ed5475c\">He concluded<\/a>, simply, &#8220;Nothing is more important in the face of a war than cutting taxes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Huh? <i>Nothing<\/i> is more important? This is simply too dumb to warrant a response.
