In other political news, President Bush took advantage of the Senate&#8217;s recess to appoint Palmeiro to the Hall of Fame.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>First, I&#8217;m delighted to see Bush&#8217;s foibles permeate even the sports press.<\/p>\n<p>Second, if Bush thought he could get away with it, I&#8217;m pretty sure McEntegart&#8217;s joke would be reality.
