A moving crew came into the rotunda of the Alabama Judicial Building this morning and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.al.com\/newsflash\/national\/index.ssf?\/base\/national-8\/106198794580300.xml\">removed Roy Moore&#8217;s granite Ten Commandments display<\/a> from the rotunda. Workers apparently were moving it to another private location within the building, though, at this point, I don&#8217;t know where.<\/p>\n<p>With this development in mind, the hearing scheduled for this afternoon in which Moore&#8217;s minions were going to ask a different federal judge to keep the display in place has been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>I think, for the time being anyway, this one&#8217;s over.<\/p>\n<p>Moore, however, still faces an uncertain future, with a hearing before Alabama&#8217;s Court of the Judiciary coming up. As I mentioned the other day, it&#8217;s possible the group will vote to remove Moore from the bench. We can only hope.<\/p>\n<p>As my friend Barry Lynn said this morning, &#8220;Perhaps Roy Moore will soon leave the bench and move into the pulpit, which he seems better suited for.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, that&#8217;s it.
