* Rep. [tag]Katherine Harris[\/tag]’ (R-Fla.) Senate campaign endured a “staff revolt<\/a>” over the weekend, with lead strategist Ed Rollins, campaign manager Jamie Miller, and spokeswoman Morgan Dobbs all moving on. Florida Today reported<\/a>, “[Harris] had the best people in the country. This is a campaign that is spiraling downward by the minute and the smartest thing for her to do would be to get out of the race.”<\/p>\n * The latest Rasmussen poll in New Jersey, which has been back-and-forth for months, shows State Sen. Tom Kean, Jr. (R) inching back into the lead<\/a> over Sen. Robert Menendez. The poll showed Kean up by two points, 41% to 39%.<\/p>\n * In Washington state, a poll from Strategic Vision, a GOP pollster, shows Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) leading<\/a> businessman Mike McGavick in the state’s Senate race this year, 49% to 39%. (via Taegan Goddard<\/a>)<\/p>\n * In Illinois, the latest Rasmussen poll suggests Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) has a pretty serious problem on his hands. With the primaries out of the way, Rasmussen shows state Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka (R) inching ahead<\/a> of the incumbent, 43% to 41%.<\/p>\n
