Salon’s Tim Grieve noticed<\/a> that [tag]Dick Cheney[\/tag] appeared on [tag]Sean Hannity[\/tag]’s radio show yesterday and received the kind of harsh grilling that only a [tag]Fox News[\/tag] personality can provide.<\/p>\n

Hannity: Well, I got to admit, these are good times for the administration. You got — Zarqawi is dead, revenues are up significantly, the deficit has been cut significantly, the president’s trip. And I’m also told there’s some breaking news that a high-value insurgent has again been captured in Iraq just now.<\/p>\n

Cheney: Well, you’re ahead of me on that one. I knew about all the other stuff, Sean, but I hadn’t heard that one yet.<\/p>\n

Hannity: See, that’s why I’m here, to bring you good news.<\/p>\n

Cheney: That’s right. (Laughter.) I got to tune in every day to find out what’s really going on in the world.<\/p>\n

Hannity: Three hours a day, Mr. [tag]Vice President[\/tag], is all we ask….<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They’re just two peas in a pod, aren’t they?<\/p>\n

Of course, it’s not like [tag]Cheney[\/tag] only<\/i> sits down for these kinds of fair-and-balanced “interviews,” right? Surely the VP likes to mix it up with those willing to challenge him a bit?
