Two of those “harbinger” races that everyone’s been watching are Indiana’s 8th and 2nd, featuring two vulnerable GOP incumbents in a red state.<\/p>\n
In the 8th, incumbent Rep. John Hostettler (R) is up against challenger Brad Ellsworth (D); in the 2nd, Rep. Chris Chocola (R) is facing challenger Joe Donnelly (D). If Dems are going to take back the House, these are two races that should be Dem pick-ups.<\/p>\n
As of right now, Ellsworth appears to be cruising to victory and Donnelly is up by 20 points with about a quarter of pricincts reporting. That’s clearly reassuring.<\/p>\n
