About four miliseconds after polls closed, everyone called Indiana, Kentucky, and Georgia for Bush, and Vermont for Kerry. This comes as a surprise to absolutely no one, so for goodness sakes, don’t be disappointed when you swing by one of the major news sites and see Bush ahead in the Electoral College vote count.
As for the Senate, Bahy (D-Indiana) and Leahy (D-Vermont) have also been declared obvious winners, while the Mongiardo-Bunning race is looking very interesting (Mongiardo is up 55-45 with 32% of the precincts reporting).
