OK, it’s New Year’s Eve and it’s a relatively slow news day. I’m taking this opportunity, therefore, to write a few posts about stories that have been lingering on my computer but have gone unwritten.
None of these stories are new, and you’ve probably heard about them elsewhere, but I’ve been meaning to weigh in on them for weeks now, so I’m using today to do just that.
