Polls, polls, and more polls

As you probably know, tomorrow will be a huge day in the race for the Dem nomination with seven primaries in a pretty diverse group of states. Who’s leading depends a bit on which polls you rely on, but Kerry is leading or competing well in all seven.

Arizona

* A Zogby tracking poll released this morning shows Kerry in the lead with 40%, Clark in second-place with 27%, and Dean in third with 13%.

* An American Research Group poll again has it a little closer, showing Kerry leading Clark 32% to 21%.

Delaware

* A Survey USA poll shows Kerry with a huge lead, enjoying 42% support. There appears to be a five-way tie for second place, with all the other candidates except Kucinich somewhere between 12% and 9%.

* An American Research Group poll has it a little closer, with Kerry at 27% while Lieberman and Dean battle it out for second place. Keep in mind, Delaware is the one state Lieberman has picked as a potential victory and has fought for support there accordingly.

New Mexico

* In one of the few recent polls conducted in the state, an Albuquerque Journal poll published over the weekend shows Kerry in the lead at 31%, while Clark and Dean are battling it out for second place.

North Dakota

* In another state with very little polling data available, a Forum-WDAY poll released late last week showed Kerry leading with 31% support, with Clark in second with 15%.

Missouri

* Zogby’s tracking poll shows Kerry running away with the state, with 50% support, which is almost impossible in a seven-candidate field. The only other candidate in double digits is Edwards, who had 15%.

* An LA Times poll showed Kerry with 37%, compared with 11% for Edwards.

Oklahoma

* Zogby’s tracking poll shows Clark with a narrow lead over Kerry, 28% to 27%. Edwards isn’t too far behind with 19%.

* ARG also shows Clark with a small lead over Kerry, 25% to 23%.

South Carolina

* Zogby’s tracking poll has Edwards with a narrow lead in his must-win state with 30%. Kerry is close behind at 25%, while Dean and Clark battle it out for third place, each with 10%.

* ARG shows similar results. Edwards leads Kerry in the poll, 30% to 23%.
