On Sunday night, the offices of the Ohio AFL-CIO were broken into and all of their computers were stolen. According to a report from ABC News, this is no joke. There “were no signs of forced entry and the union’s office was the only one in the building robbed.”
Now I’m not one to jump to conclusions, but really, what are we to think? One of the nation’s most important swing states (20 electoral votes), the Dems’ largest institutional ally, Republicans desperate for a victory … it’s not a pretty picture.
And there is some precedent for this. In fact, the last time we had a power-hungry, overly-secretive Republican incumbent, there was another break-in driven by the need for some potentially damaging files…
