There were a few internal Carpetbagger matters I wanted to briefly bring to readers’ attention.
First, many of you wrote in with positive feedback regarding my guest-posters during my short respite last week. In particular, many of you enjoyed Morbo’s musings. With this in mind, and because he volunteered, Morbo will be contributing fairly regularly as a weekend contributor. If readers like weekend content, I might even expand this to include a few more weekend writers, so let me know if this is something you’re interested in. (And, in case you missed it, Morbo had a great item on Saturday about the Salvation Army that you might enjoy)
Second, I made some minor adjustments to the blogroll. I took off a couple that aren’t updated much and added a couple that I’ve been enjoying more and more. I know that some of you use this as a de facto set of bookmarks, so I thought I should give you a heads-up.
Third, just in time for the holidays, I’ve gotten around to updating the Carpetbagger Recommendations page. Buy progressive goodies for those on your shopping list, while giving me a hand — it’s a two-fer. (If readers have suggestions for other political books/videos that I’ve forgotten to add to the list, I’m always open to suggestion.)
On a related note of crass commercialism, if you’re planning to do some holiday shopping at Amazon.com anyway, why not get there through the handy-dandy link available right here at The Carpetbagger Report? It’s always there in that handsome, white box over there on your left below the blogroll. Using the link won’t cost you anything extra, but it helps me a bit.
Thanks. Back to the news…
