Some of my more widely read colleagues endorse favorite candidates with some regularity, so I thought I’d get in on the fun and let readers know about a friend of mine, Nathan Rudy, who’s running for Freeholder in Somerset County, NJ.
(In New Jersey, a “Freeholder” is a county commissioner and is responsible for human services. county roads, parks and bridges, and setting the budget for the county jail, prosecutor, courts and surrogate. I know, they should probably change the name, but that’s not important right now.)
