We’re still over a month away from seeing a single voter casts a single vote, but already Wesley Clark has won a key primary — the Rock the Vote candidates’ video contest.
Last month, Rock the Vote and CNN co-hosted a candidates’ forum in Boston. As part of the event, all of the candidates were invited to prepare a 30-second video that was supposed to “appeal to young people and encourage them to vote.” All the spots were aired during the broadcast.
Subsequently, Rock the Vote invited people to vote on which ad was the best one. Clark won in a landslide.
Clark — 46.33%
Dean — 26.48%
Kucinich — 12.03%
Objectively, Clark’s video really was better than the others’. I think the reference to Outkast really sealed the deal for him.
Rock the Vote still has all of the videos available online. Take a look.
