I really don’t know what to make of this one. In talking about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (or, in this case, the lack thereof), Bush offered us this gem last night:
“Even though we didn’t find the stockpiles we affected (sic) — to find, Saddam Hussein had the capability of making weapons.”
Usually, I can more or less see what Bush meant when he makes one of these mistakes, but what on earth was the poor guy trying to say here?
