Giuliani surrogate: Muslims are ‘madmen’

John Deady, a designated surrogate for Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign, and a leader with a group called “Veterans for Rudy,” was caught on video making some jaw-dropping comments about Muslims. Here’s what Deady said about Giuliani:

“He’s got I believe the knowledge and the judgment to attack one of the most difficult problems in current history and that is the rise of the Muslims, and make no mistake about it, this hasn’t happened for a thousand years. These people are very, very dedicated and they’re also very smart, in their own way. We need to keep the feet to the fire and keep pressing these people until we defeat or chase them back to their caves — or in other words get rid of them.”

It certainly sounded like Deady wasn’t just targeting “Islamofascists,” but rather was talking publicly about chasing all Muslims “back to their caves,” and getting “rid of them.”

Greg Sargent tracked Deady down yesterday afternoon, and the Giuliani surrogate didn’t back down at all. Indeed, he made matters worse. Asked, for example, if he stood by his comments, Deady said:

“I most assuredly do. I’ve been very concerned about this Muslim thing for quite awhile. The average American does not know beans about what the Muslims are about. I am talking about the Muslims in general. I don’t subscribe to the principle that there are good Muslims and bad Muslims. They’re all Muslims.”

Deady added, “When I say get rid of them, I wasn’t necessarily referring to genocide.”

He wasn’t “necessarily” referring to genocide?

Apparently, Deady was just getting started. He went on to say we can’t be diplomatic with Muslims because, “We’re not dealing with a rational mindset here. We’re dealing with madmen.” Asked if this was a reference to all Muslims, he said, “I am talking about Muslims in general.”

At another point, Deady added, “I’m not a bigot really. I may sound like one. But I’m only quoting what’s factual.”

Greg added, of course, that Deady isn’t just some no-name volunteer for the Giuliani campaign.

Indeed, Deady was designated by the campaign in a press release as the co-chair of Veterans for Rudy. The release describes him as a surrogate, saying: “Veterans for Rudy will continue to build this coalition to help communicate Mayor Giuliani’s optimistic vision for America and his proven track record of real results to New Hampshire voters.”

Yes, Deady certainly did a bang-up job communicating Giuliani’s “optimistic message,” didn’t he?

As of late last night, the Giuliani campaign said it would ask Deady to resign “if these quotes are accurate.” Stay tuned.

He was “necessarily” referring to genocide?

So it sounds like “all options are on the table”.

Scary folks, the people behind rudy – don’t underestimate the power of the criminal cabal that thrust an AWOL alcoholic/cocaine-addict fool into the pResidency via 2 stolen elections, creating 9/11 and using it to destroy the US Constitution.

If they want rudy, they will get him – he is the online candidate that will be able to scream 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 for the next 8 years and have the MSM “catapult the propaganda” on how strong he is on the “terror” issue.

  • That’s what we need! We need a foreign policy that alienates more allies and creates yet more enemies! I wonder if Cheney writes this guy’s material.

  • So, I wonder when people will realize that surrounding himself with the likes of Bernie Kerik and cocaine dealers and pedophile priests, and others of that general ilk, is not just an aberration, but commentary on the kind of person Giuliani really is, and the lengths he will go to in his quest for domination.

So, maybe they fire Deady – but are we to believe that no one in the campaign knew what this man’s opinions were on Muslims, including – and perhaps, especially – Giuliani himself?

It sickens me to know that there is as much of a core of support for Giuliani as there apparently is.

  • All this proves is that my memory of my military service – where 80% of my fellow sailors were morons and idiots – is accurate.

Among the “professional veterans” one finds in the American Legion (originally founded in 1919 to be America’s blackshirts, as an “anti-Red” paramilitary force, which has a record of being far right on everything but veteran’s legislation), I am sure the “moron percentage” is far higher, since every intelligent vet I know stays far far away from those fools.

Deady’s just your average American Legion primitive.

  • Giuliani has had ample time to drop kick this whack job into a deep dark hole.

    He hasn’t.

Congratulations Rudy, you’ve become the one guy bad enough to make me vote for Hilary.
Hil, pray for Rudy to win. I really don’t like you at all, but Rudy has just succeeded in “galvanizing” me.

    Iowa, PLEASE punish him severely.

  • bumper stickers soon to be seen in Guiliani campaign headquarters:

“Rudy08 – Kill ‘Em All & Let Our Judeo-Christian God Sort ‘Em Out”

(in small print along the bottom — “and I approve this message – Rudy”)

  • Silent but Deady strikes again!

“I’m not a bigot really. I may sound like one. But I’m only quoting what’s factual.”

Ah yes, the fall back argument of hard core shitheads the world over. “I’m not a hate spewing lunatic, I’m merely repeating known truths!”

And of course Ghoolie is trying to hedge for his pal. I hope he keeps him.

  • What scares me is the message is relevant to the Guiliani campaign. Think about how many have joined the military to “kill ’em some ragheads” and all ragheads are Muslim in the Guiliani campaign. Insisting on calling terrorists “Islamofascists” and trying to connect all terrorism to Islam…when in point of fact we are in that part of the world militarily where they are all believers in Islam. So everything from peace to terrorism will involve believers in Islam. It’s like calling Tim McVey a Christofascist. Guiliani cannot understand how his comments are racist and bigoted.
No doubt there are a group of retired vets who would love to just “nuke all the commie …”er..I mean Muslim bastards. Being a vet, like all organizations, doesn’t mean you are rational or have any insight simply because the group is composed of ‘people’. But in Guiliani’s case, his campaign rhetoric is meant to attract a lynch mob mentality and thus encourage that type of behavior. Rather than admit these are racist remarks and that they should be balanced with rationality…Rudy’s campaign stands for , “Yes, yes, more, more” and go about accusin democrats of being too afraid to even say the word Islamofascists rather than recognizing that dems don’t agree with those racist remarks.

  • I hate to say it, But I agree with the Man 100%. They’re not civilized people, they’re terrorists who follow a Religion of War and not of peace.

I’ll go a step further and say, every time on them towel-heads blows up something in Iraq, We Christians need to Blow up one of their Mosques. Eye of an Eye, Tooth for a Tooth, I always say. This is a Christian Nation and it was founded on Christian Principles, Not on Islamic Principles.

The worst thing we ever did was get involved in Iraq and not carpet bomb the countries who hid and supported Osama,

  • Chuck, I dont know if you’re just trying to be provocative or just a total moron. Christianity is the religion of war. Millions have died because of christian values and our obsessive need to be the “one and ONLY TRUE” path to gOd.

  • Up-chuck, @11

If you really “hate to say it”, then why do you? Just to prove to everyone what a total, uneducated, narrow-minded and bigoted fool you are?

  • ***This is a Christian Nation and it was founded on Christian Principles, Not on Islamic Principles.***
    ————————————–chuckles the clown

Change out the word “Islamic” for the word “Jewish” and chuckles sounds a lot like another
“veteran” of the past century. Talk about your “UberSchweinKampfen” rhetoric, proving once again that in many ways, a cross is a cross—is a cross, whether straight or bent….

  • #11: “This is a Christian Nation and it was founded on Christian Principles”

care to identify in our founding documents where our nation is based on a belief of jesus as his only begotten son?

  • I read an interesting article the other day (meatspace, I’m afraid, so no link) on religion. According to the author, religion has had far too much license in our society — licenses for bigotry, stupidity, exploitation, and even violence.

Deady’s comments only serve to convince me that the author of that article was more right than I had supposed. As an agnostic secularist, I had for too long tolerated this kind of discriminatory nonsense — what gigantic modern religions TEND to do is lead people apart rather than together, and with modern technology in communications and death-dealing, our world can’t afford it. The truth is, a religion motivates its adherents based on illogical “faith” or, worse, irrational belief in some spiritual leader (like, for example, Osama bin Laden).

It’s time to stop being so accepting of things on the politically correct basis of “that’s their belief”. When Egyptian girls are circumcised (a crippling and horrifying procedure) or Muslim women are oppressed in Saudi Arabia; when an American homosexual is disowned by his family or discriminated against; whenever religion is just wrong, it’s time to start saying so.

Conversely, religions can work against their adherents. Take, for example, Deady’s bigotry. Since some members of Islam have decided (again, based on faith and deception) to commit horrible acts of terrorism, Deady feels obligated to (implicity, I suppose) suggest genocide. Genocide! Just as our society is slowly coming to the realization that race isn’t that important, religion must soon see its end as a means to generalize.

I know that that’s a pretty dense block of text for a comment box, so let me sum it up: “This article brings to mind a very pertinent issue to our time: religion has created bigots and fools and is far too acceptable. Although it’s unfair to generalize based on religion, there are certain beliefs that are just wrong and cannot be excused for the sake of political correctness.”

  • The problem is not Muslims. The problem is, was and always will be religion and human manipulation of it to their own purposes. There are characteristics that are specific to religious people, regardless of what religion: those are tunnel vision, hate, Us versus Them mentality, ethnocentrism, religiocentrism and bigotry.
When one adds in fearful, uneducated old men, then one gets fanatacisim. doesn’t matter what ‘brand’ of fanatasicm. Call it what you will, it’s the same old dog.
This guy needs to retire as do all old guys who incite hate.

  • To ones who think Muslims are not a threat to your existance, get enough of them elected where the political power is in their hands, then watch your American cultures go down the drain. The Muslims in Toronto Canada tried to establish their own Sharian Law in Ontario, because the spokes-women for the Islamic community quoated, “Canadian law does not agree with Islam,” and to think they almost succeeded. Next time they may do so. Who’s fucking country do these immigrants think they’re in when they imigrate to Canada or the USA?
To the one who thinks that religion is good for bigotry, exploitation, violence is correct, but read in Revelation what the Scarlet Coloured Wild Beast will do to all religion on earth very soon. Don’t know what the Scarlet Coloured Wild Beast represents? Its in New York City, has been lying dormat for years, but will come alive very soon and become an aggressive world power.

  • This was a terrible, racist remark by a front runner’s aide. I couldn’t believe how many extremists are into Rudy’s Camp.

I’m sure he’s gonna get hit real hard because of this fact.

There is only one man, who speaks the truth, is dedicated to his job, and can reform America.

    His name is Ron Paul.

  • Deady sounds just like Al Qaida, advocating mass genocide etc! There are some really bad aspects of Islam, no doubt at all, but to lump every muslim together is asinine, this is Bin Laden logic, it makes us sound just like those barbaric beasts, whatever happened to taking the moral higher ground.
In WWII we did not exterminate all Germans and post Nazi Germany flourished, looking at events in Pakistan, there is clearly support for democracy, students in Iran have risked death to oppose their nutjob regime, Al Qaida and other terrororists hate this, and the only way forward is to support these people in achieving freedom. What Deady has said is extreme cowardice, when it comes down to it, he won’t be risking his ass for America, it will be thousands of kids from poor neighborhoods.

  • So, if the campaign is failing, attack, choose someone who can’t defend himself and attach. This is called “night crawler” bravery in WV.

  • The best thing about using “surrogated spokesperson” is that you can choose whether to support the words or claim total deniability. If the wind happens to be in the same direction, you bring the spokesperson to the stage and thank them for their valuable support. But if not, sever the limb, either quietly, or by making a strong public statement on how you are a uniter. Hillary did it twice: had someone suggest that Obama’s so-called Muslim roots will destroy the country, and then pointing at an alleged cocaine use. Both of these spokes of her campaign bus were very conveniently replaced by two other equally dispensable people.

We need to realize that in politics, nothing ever gets said for no reason. It’s either a calculated move or an involuntary regurgitation of one’s beliefs. Either way, the public is well-advised to inspect all facets of their candidate before casting their vote.

One of these people will start representing us next January. Honestly, it’s scary!

  • Not all Muslims are terrorists, its their religion that makes terrorists out of all Muslims.

  • listen all the bigot racist faggots on this thread

you know absolutely nothing about true islam. i’m not muslim but i am a religion major who has been fortunate enough to meet several muslims. ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE AND TRUE MUSLIMS NEVER HARM ANYONE UNLESS ITS SELF DEFENSE AND THEY ARE IN DANGER. these terrorists who claim that they do it in the name of God actually have all of their facts comletely wrong just like you. they are an embarassment to all true muslims who are actually peaceful, loving people. islam absolutely forbids killing/murder. btw there are so called christians/jews/hindus etc. who have killed, raped, bombed, etc. but no one seems to stereotype an entire race when it is a nonmuslim

so basically, you pussies need to get your fuckin facts right before you post and talk shit about others. this goes for you too John Deady

  • also, chuck you need to get a life and a job even if you can’t seem to get laid

you have everything mixed up, but notice how the black man doesn’t label all white men idiots just because you have no balls, money, or common sense

i’m sorry you’re life sucks, maybe you should do some research on islam as i have and quit listening to CNN, MSNBC and everyone else who sees fit to connect terror and Islam

  • So you consider yourself a religion major huh? With the nature of your remarks and profanity, it seems you are probably misguided by your own studies, just as religion has been misguiding all of mankind for centuries.
Ephesions 4:4-6 refers to only one religion recognized by the author of the Holy Scriptures. Acts 17:24 says that God does not dwell in made man temples which pretty well eliminates most religions on this planet.
If you major in religion then its false religion that is your specialty, the true religion carries members who are no part of the world just as Jesus spoke in John 17:15 that his kingdom is no part of the world.
Religion is based on teachings of the god of this system of things 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 of which you belong and all religions are part of …including Islam!!!!

  • hmm Leon seems like you know a lot about Christianity but if you’re smart enough to remember (which you prolly arent) then you would figure out that we were talking about Islam.

Just because you know Christianity doesn’t mean you know anything about Islam. So why don’t you just grow up, quit talking about others, and pick up a book.

Growing up listening to a biased CNN probably misguided you a lil bit. I’m just setting the facts straight so you don’t go poisoning everyone else’s mind

  • That’s just it Tyrone, what is there to know about Islam? The true faith has nothing in common with other religions, just as Islam only has what is common in its own ideaologies, that if you understood where it all came from, you’d find that most of its teachings originated with the Mosaic Law that was initiated by the God (Yahweh) for the Nation of Israel when it made a covenant arrangement with him to be his chosen people.
The Nation of Israel no longer hold that recognition as God’s chosen people today, even though many people who practise Judism would disagree with you. The Jews broke the first covenent with Yahweh (Jehovah) first in 607 BC or BCE and that began the Appointed Times of the Nations, or The Gentile Times in mans history meaning: anyone other than Jews were allowed to share the hope in God’s coming Messianic Kingdom. After being in exile by the Babylonians for 70 years the Nation of Israel once again was allowed status among its peers, but with representation from other nations as well. That did not sit too well with Israel considering it was God’s chosen people and finally in 70 AD or CE the nation was completely removed from Jehovah’s favour because of their violations of the original covenant that was drawn up during the time of moses.
With the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in 33 CE the Mosaic Law that was initiated to the Nation of Israel as part of the Ten Commandments that were exclusively for Israelites only, was abolished, along with the Ten Commandments of the covenant rule. Christ initiated only two commandments for all Gentiles (non Jews) and that was to love Jehovah your God with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole mind. Second: You must love your neighbour as yourself. It goes on to say “On those two commandments the whole Law hangs and the Prophets.” Matt. 22:38-40.
If you understand interpetations of scriptures that last verse #40 means with Christ’s death, the burdens of the Mosaic Law and Prophets were no longer a representation of God’s Kingdom here on earth. The new covenant that was drawn up by Christ’s true followers included those two commandments only, but concluded the Mosaic Law and no longer was there a need for prophets, as all prophets were prior to the greatest and last prophet Jesus Christ, who was the only one who could give atonement for sacrifice as a human.
Otherwords, Muhammod was not a true prophet of the true God, he was a self confessed person who convinced alot of people that his encounterments were divine inspiration. They were not and due course of his life he initiated back most of the Laws that were reserved for the Nation of Israel, a complete violation of God’s original covenant arrangement.
With those facts right there and to be aware that the Mosaic Law was initiated centuries before Islam was ever founded makes Islam a prime candidate for the final conquest of Babylon the Great (all false religion) by the Scarlet Coloured Wild Beast mentioned in Revelation chapter 18.
That in turn, will trigger the Great Tribulation mentioned in Matt. 24:21 and force Jehovah God to intervene in mankinds affairs because of the incidents that will follow, such as possibly a nuclear holocaust. Matt. 24:22 supports that theory.
If you have a hard time understanding this, quite alright my friend, that day is already at your doorstep, you will witness it first hand very soon.

  • Trust me Leon, you wasted your time for nothing..I’m gonna add this then I’m out.

You are suffering from an enthnocentric perspective. While you know Christianity in and out, you simply cannot use that to judge Islam, or any other religion for that matter Any group can be ethnocentric if they believe that they are superior to others.

This leads to a misunderstanding of the world, as you have a misunderstanding of Islam which is quite obvious, and leads to narrow-minded conclusions about the worth of diverse cultures

Now being a Christian it isn’t particularly easy to argue for a faith I don’t believe in. But Islam is a scientific-based religion which was (believe it or not) delivered in the same manner as our faith.

So why do I take up for Muslims? I know plenty of them and they are great, intelligent people

You on the other hand, seem intelligent so why must you be so ignorant? If you want the truth about Islam, I recommend http://www.islam-guide.com. Until you read up, you need to shut up.

  • True Tyrone, I wasted my time for the world, I did not wast time for divine effort. Hey, I know many Muslims myself, I also know several Catholic’s, Baptists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Evangelical tent people, etc. These people are all great & intelligent idividuals. The thing is, I’m not judging no-one individual on a personal scale. Its the accuracy of their religion according to true texts in the scriptures is what the question is.
After studying and being involved in religious organizations for over 40 years, I have matched the faith that coincide perfectly with the holy scriptures and the one only faith that is mentioned in Ephesians 4:4-6.
I don’t have to acknowledge anymore of Islam that I already know to realize that it is not the one clearly mentioned throughout scriptures. I know the truth of the scriptures, I know how to interpet them and I also know as Jesus Christ said to his followers that; “since they persecuted him, they’ll also persecute anyone who has learned the truth.”
If you are content in your faith as a Muslim, well my friend, that’s fine, but you have to realize that Jehovah God, (the God of the Nation of Israel) requires you to seek out his organization before the last days come to an end. Revelation 18:4 gives clear warning to ones who are just content without seeking true salvation.
That verse also coincides with Matthew 7:14 as Jesus claims very few will ever find the true faith when Armageddon is triggered by the great Tribulation that will occur very soon.
So you see Tyrone, ignorance of your religion is not the issue here, when you know the truth, “the truth will set you free,” and what Christ means by that statement is… free of all false and deceitful teachings that one learns about the numerous other faiths, when you sincerly are searching for accurate knowlege of truth from the author of the holy scriptures himself.

  • Haven’t had any feedback for quite sometime now. I guess if you really wanna put someone to the test of their accurate knowledge of scriptures, you confront them. The problem with most people these days is they would rather have their ears tickled enough to get by on thinking that is ok with God.
Thinking what they know is good enough for them and abiding on their own understanding has always been a fatal mistake by ones who are so sure of themselves when it comes to strict standards of divine purpose.
To them its fine… to God, it is not acceptable and on the day of Jehovah’s wrath he will prove how mistaken they are and how their decision not to seek him will be very regretful.

  • Leon Flamick is retarded. He posts his stupid opinion everywhere on the internet. He should kill himself.
