I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is I’m going to be away from my desk today and tomorrow, and probably won’t be able to post anything. (It’s possible I’ll pop in now and then, but don’t hold me to it.)
The good news is I’ve recruited a couple of great guest bloggers to sit in while I’m off. The Reaction‘s Michael J.W. Stickings will be here through Saturday and my friend Tom Schaller will be contributing today and tomorrow.
Stickings, of course, did a terrific job filling in for me in April, and by popular acclaim, is back for another run. Schaller, for those of you who aren’t familiar with his work, is a political science professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, has written some terrific pieces for publications such as the Washington Post and Salon.com, is the co-founder and executive editor of The Gadflyer, and is co-creator of PoliticsTV.
For weekend readers, the man I fondly call “Morbo” will be sharing some words of wisdom on Saturday along with some additional insights from Michael J.W. Stickings, and there will be, as always, a Sunday Discussion Group on, well, Sunday.
Be nice to the subs — or you’ll all get extra homework. And yes, everything Michael and Tom write will be included on the final exam.
