Just a couple of items to mention briefly this morning….
* My guest stint at Washington Monthly, which I enjoyed thoroughly, ended yesterday. Many thanks to Kevin Drum for the opportunity. This week, I’m going back to a relatively normal schedule writing here and co-editing the Daou Report.
* There were a couple of items I wrote for WM over the weekend that I’m going to post here this morning because I think they may be of interest and I wanted to give my regular commenters a chance to weigh in. If you already saw them over at WM, sorry for the redundancy. I’ll have plenty of fresh content throughout the day.
* I haven’t forgotten about the Mendacity Madness contest we started working on 10 days ago. I had hoped to figure out the logistics last week, but didn’t have the time. So, let’s have one more week of nominations while I start finish up how the contest is going to work. (If you have some favorite Bush lies that haven’t already been nominated, feel free to add them here, there, or send them in via email.)
And now, back to the news….
