Housekeeping note

Much to my dismay, I seem to have come down with the flu. It’s completely knocked me off my feet, and as much as I’d like to work today, it just isn’t going to happen.

I’ve asked Steve M. from No More Mister Nice Blog, Ron Chusid from Liberal Values, and dnA from Too Sense to help out with some guest posts. Make ’em feel at home.

Hopefully, I’ll bounce back quickly and will be back tomorrow.

Get well soon, half the blogs out there will have to find guest writers today…lol…

  • I think that your flu is part of a vast, right-wing conspiracy. 🙂

Seriously, get well soon. We’ll miss you.

  • Good lord, Steve, take as much time as you need to get over this nasty strain of flu. You deserve some time off. Too bad it’s on your back with a fever.

  • Hasty recovery, Steve. We need you, your country needs you. Meanwhile, enjoy your time off if you can. Let’s all respect karma and think positive thoughts on Steve’s behalf: beat McCain, beat McCain, beat McCain, ooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmm.

  • Get well soon, Steve. You won’t recognize the place when you get back. Everyone is changing their names. Personally, I think Jackpine Savage is (was) one of the best names on-line.

  • That flu took me down two weeks ago and didn’t even feel up to reading blogs let alone writing one. Took five days to turn the corner to feeling better. I hope you recover much quicker.

  • Flu?? Pish! How can we expect Democrats to fight the terrorists when they can’t even fight tiny little viruses? Perhaps I should start reading Glenn Reynolds instead. His stuff ALWAYS sounds like someone writing with the flu…and the mumps, alzheimer’s, and a severe case of paranoid schizophrenia; yet that only seems to make him write more.

Perhaps there are some things more important than the quality of one’s writing and mental processes. In times like these, it’s better to write something stupid than to not have written anything at all.

  • The thrill of turning on the computer in the morning, the agony of finding out Steve’s sick.

There are some nasty bugs out this year. Hope you feel better soon!

  • Get well soon; as much as I like all your guest bloggers, I’ll miss *your* postings. Wish I could e-send you some chicken soup and tea with lemon.

  • Steve,
Get all the rest you need. The flu hangs on if you do not get the rest that is necessary to beat it. We’ll be here when you are feeling better (which I hope is soon).

  • Dude, I didn’t stop blogging when I spent January with the creeping crud. Suck it up and hack out some posts like I did.

Really, you’re totally obsessed with this quality thing you’ve got going on here….

  • Dude –

Join the rest of the country. The flu is ugly this year. I wish I could tell you that there was a double secret formula that doctors keep for themselves. There ain’t. So, do the right thing. Sleep. Anything over the counter that makes you feel better.

    Get well soon.
