My schedule has a few unusual twists and turns today, some of which will sporadically keep me away from my desk. I’ve recruited The Reaction’s Michael J.W. Stickings to, once again, help out. I will, however, have some posts today.
And now, back to the news….
if there is any justice the “unusual twists” include a pleading request from the Democratic National Committee to come talk to them about being their Director of Online Outreach, and then separate interviews with each major candidate about running their message operation, and finally interviews with the New Yorker, Harpers, Atlantic Monthly, CNN, MSNBC, and WaPo about heading up their multimedia political issue coverage in exchange for embarassingly large sums of money. Oh yeah – and another meeting with former President Clinton.
We need eggs Mr. CB and we’re about out of peanut butter. And don’t forget, you said we were going to try the Chunky Monkey this time. Maybe some excellent Vermont Shortbread would be good with that Chunky Monkey. For sure it would!

Zeitgeist (#1), I’m exhausted just reading your list of “unusual twists”.
Anyway, I thought “unusual twists” meant something other than lemon or lime in today’s round of cocktails. A twist of grapefruit? tangerine? kumquat? satsuma? tangelo? mandarin? ugli?
You guys aren’t noticing… He didn’t just say twists… he said twists AND TURNS. I’m betting he’s taken up racing automobiles as a new hobby, maybe Formula 1?
