I just wanted to take a moment to note that The Carpetbagger Report enjoyed its best month ever in September. The site enjoyed all-time highs for unique visitors, total visits, page views, and links from other sites.
In fact, this site’s traffic has more than doubled since August and more than tripled since July.
Perhaps best of all, I’ve seen a steady but noticeable increase in the amount of hate-mail I receive. Between February and May, the first four months of the site, I only got a handful of bizarre, poorly-written, right-wing screeds. The past several weeks, however, I’ve been receiving one or two a day. I’m going to interpret that as a sign that I’m doing something right.
