Housekeeping notes

A couple of readers have asked about the holiday schedule here at The Carpetbagger Report so I thought I’d give a quick rundown.

In short, not much will change. I’ll be posting today, guest poster Morbo will have some words of wisdom tomorrow, and on Sunday there will be a special year-in-review Sunday Discussion Group.

Next week will also be fairly normal, except that I’ll be guest posting at The Washington Monthly, in addition to here. (In most instances, I’ll cross-post to both sites.) The news may be a little on the slow side, so expect a few non-political posts and maybe some items on stories that have been just below the surface that I’ve been meaning to write about for a while.

Happy Festivus to one and all — may all of your grievances be heard. And with that, back to the news….

And may you prevail in all your Feats of Strength!

Happy Holidays, Steve – I’m looking forward to a great 2006 on the Carpetbagger!

  • Thanks to all here at TCR who have written thought provoking, informative and humorous musings over the course of ’05. We’re living through a historic time. TCR has been a smart place to get bearings and reassurances that the earth hasn’t wobbled completely off it’s axis.

Good Luck to all in ’06.

  • Don’t forget about the Christmas Eve Pardons! They are sure to be a laugh riot. Anyone for Scooter?
