Koufax Award voting

Thanks to your generous nominations, The Carpetbagger Report has been nominated for four Koufax Awards this year. The polls are now open, and if you’re so inclined, you can vote for The Carpetbagger Report in the following categories:

* Best Blog (though Wampum seems to have a little trouble accepting votes right now on this one)

* Best Writing

* Best Post (for this post)

* Best Series (for my coverage of the Denver Three)

To vote, follow the above links. Go to the very bottom, where it says “Post a comment.” Type in your name and email address in the appropriate fields, and in the Comments box, type in the name of the blog you wish to vote for. Then press the “Post” button below.

Voters can cast one vote per person per category. (I appreciate enthusiastic support, but Koufax Award organizers can see when someone votes from the same computer twice.) You can, however, vote in as many of the 15 categories as you’d like.

Let your voice be heard. There are an astounding number of great blogs online, so even if you’re not inclined to vote for The Carpetbagger Report, it’s still worth taking a moment to support the blogs that deserve recognition. Thanks.

Finally, a candidate I can respect.

  • I voted for you in the category of best writing. Since MyDD nominated my very first diary for best post (chuckle), I had to vote for moi!

  • A clean sweep for The Carpetbagger Report!

    I just wish that the Wampum guys would remove that lame ‘signature’ or whatever it is that appears after every post. I have no idea who Chris Miller is and even less interest in the Maine National Guard.

    If he can get them home in one piece, great. I’ll cheer. But seeing that wretched thing several hundred times gets tedious and annoying after the first few minutes and makes the actual votes really hard to focus on.

    Harumph……
