Koufax Award voting

I’m very pleased to announce that The Carpetbagger Report is one of the 10 finalists for a Koufax Award in the “Best Blog (non-pro)” category. Readers have been very supportive through the process thus far, and I need you to vote just once more now that the process is nearly complete. I’m a finalist in just one category, so this will only take 10 seconds. (I promise not to ask for any more favors for the rest of the year.)

Here’s what to do: Go to this page. Go to the bottom, where it says “Post a comment.” Type in your name and email address in the appropriate fields, and in the Comments box, type in the name of the blog you wish to vote for. Then press the “Post” button below. That’s it.

Please, only vote once. (I appreciate enthusiastic support, but Koufax Award organizers can see when someone votes from the same computer twice.)

In a way, consider this the run-off election. You got me on the primary ballot, then you got me on the general election ballot, and now there’s just one more election to decide who wins.

  • My vote did register apparently, even with the error message. Keep up the great work CB. And G2000 I apologize again for being pissy a few weeks back, just in case you missed my last one.

  • I concur with others up-thread about the problems posting,though I did manage to get mine up for CBR as best blog. It was a tough call, given that I love Firedoglake as well, and a few other blogs, but for sheer coverage, outstanding writing and analysis… my heart belonged to CB.

    Hope you win, CB! And keep up the great work you do …

  • Looks like there’s tons of duplicate votes, including mine, because we all got the message that it didn’t go through and tried again, sometimes multiple times. Oh, well, at least we got them in. The site admins will just have to filter out the dupes. Good luck, CB!!!

  • Sorry, the server is slower than molasses. I don’t have 3 hours to do this. Wampum needs to develop a different system.
