Limbaugh detained for prescription drug problem (again)

In the unlikely event you haven’t heard

[tag]Rush Limbaugh[/tag] was detained for about 3 1/2 hours at Palm Beach International Airport after authorities said they found a bottle of [tag]Viagra[/tag] in his possession without a prescription.

The 55-year-old radio commentator’s luggage was examined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection after his private plane landed at the airport around 2 p.m. from the Dominican Republic, said Paul Miller, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Customs officials found in Limbaugh’s luggage a [tag]prescription[/tag] bottle labeled as Viagra, a prescription drug that treats erectile disfunction, Miller said.

“The problem was that on the bottle itself was not his name, but the name of two Florida doctors,” Miller said.

This isn’t an area in which I have any expertise, but Limbaugh’s attorney said the prescription was intentionally issued under a doctor’s name instead of Limbaugh’s “for privacy purposes.” It sounds like an odd explanation, since prescriptions aren’t exactly part of the public record.

Regardless, it’s unclear what happens next. Limbaugh was released without being charged, but the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the incident may amount to “a second degree misdemeanor violation, which is possession of certain drugs without a prescription, because the bottle does not have his name on it.”

Does this violate the deal Limbaugh struck with prosecutors after the blowhard’s last prescription-[tag]drug[/tag] [tag]problem[/tag]? I don’t know; I guess we’ll find out.

I should add, however, that if Limbaugh does have a serious problem with prescription drugs, it’s a shame and I wish him a speedy recovery. [tag]Addiction[/tag] isn’t funny. Here’s to hoping that law enforcement doesn’t treat Limbaugh the way he’s said on-air other addicts should be treated.

Hey CB,

Don’t you know that for media celebrities like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter there are special rules? Prescriptions for pharmaceuticals and voting the same day in two voting precincts are mere trifles. Such celebrities don’t have to follow laws like us ordinary people.

F*****g hypocrites.

  • Once again, an otherwise estimable liberal guy reveals why liberals will always lose in the end.

“I should add, however, that if Limbaugh does have a serious problem with prescription drugs, it’s a shame and I wish him a speedy recovery.”

Would he wish the same for you, Steve, if your situations were reversed? Don’t bet on it.

On the contrary, if Limbaugh dies have a serious problem with drugs, he should suffer like all the other people whose lives policies he promotes have suffered. An appalling fucking hypocrite such as this piece of shit simply does not deserve the sympathy or the good wishes of anyone. Fuck him.

  • I hope the family values folks can ask some important questions, like why someone who isn’t married needs ED drugs? Surely he’s not having relations outside of marriage!

I haven’t heard anything about the docs in any reports – is it legal for Dr’s to prescribe pills for patients in their own names? That sounds pretty wierd to me. Did the dr’s go to the pharmacy to pick up the pills? Pay for them? Hmmm.

  • Like Limbaugh, I am aging baby-boomer. I don’t smoke (good), and I certainly don’t exercise enough (bad). Yet, I don’t expect to be “treated” for ED until I’m over 70. I wonder what doctors would say about a 55-year-old man being treated for ED? Could it be that with a history of being overweight and pill-popping behavior, that this stuff-shirt (of shit) has compromised health? Maybe, it’s a build-up of bile in his system.

  • Folks, I disagree. Do we really want the border security to be enforce prescription regulations? This seems intrusive to me.
Is it really anybody’s business if he takes Viagra? What about carrying prescriptions for others?

Frankly, I’m with Limbaugh on this one. The government should back off.

Furthermore, just because he is an unprincipled a**hole doesn’t mean that we have to be.

  • Here’s to hoping that law enforcement doesn’t treat Limbaugh the way he’s said on-air other addicts should be treated.

I’m not wishing addiction on him, but this is certainly more gracious than I’m willing to be. He is perhaps the only case where I would favor mandatory drug sentencing…

He deserves nothing but the harshest treatment possible. Schadenfreude’s a bitch, Rush.

  • Farinata X – “[…]if Limbaugh dies have a serious problem with drugs[…]”
Did you mean does? Boy I like Freud!

This one should be interesting. I would like to know why Mr. Righty had these drugs. Does anyone know if E.D. is a side-effect of Oxycontin? I think the judge should take a look at this. I bet if Rush was a regular person and not a famous blowhard (I like puns) he woul dbe right back in court.

While we are at it what was he doing in the Dominican Rebuplic?

  • Neil – It was customs officials that found it and he was arriving on an international flight. He was released without charge. What is the harm done? It would be nothing for you or I to be detained at an airport, why is Rush above scrutiny. The problem is not that he has Viagra and it is not that he has a limp noodle. The problem is that the prescription was not his and the reason (the cover-up always gets you) he gave was privacy.

People who live in glass houses…are deserving of additional scrutiny.

  • “Farinata X – “[…]if Limbaugh dies have a serious problem with drugs[…]”
    Did you mean does?”

Good question. I’ll have to get back to you on that one.

  • NeilS, I’m not sure I follow you. If a beat cop pulls over a car full of teenagers and finds them in possession of all mommy and daddy’s powerful prescription narcotics, I’d expect them to do something about it.

Similiarly, checking prescription bottles to catch illegal drug trafficing seems like a reasonable part of custom’s agents’ duties. We could argue about rather or not the law should be changed, but while it is in place this seems like reasonable enforcement overlap.

In fact, I find it promising. His name popped with a prior drug charge and, well known celeb or not, he got close scrutiny. Besides, we may not know the whole story. He may have been hauling a 55 gallon drum of Viagra around, suffering from priapism (a painful, prolonged erection), and screaming incoherently (as in more than normal). Frankly, if a wild eyed Rush is wandering around a secure area with a tiny bulge in his pants shouting “Why won’t Ann Coulter fist ME! Is it my cyst?” I hope that the authorities roughed him up a bit before taking him downtown…

    -jjf

  • My first reaction is to agree with NeilS. Considering the drug in question was Viagra, I don’t see much reason to make a big flap about it.

My second reaction is the opposite. This is Rush “Holier then Thou” Limbaugh, who would scream for an entire afternoon if the same happened to a Democrat — plus sprinkle in numerous snide remarks. So, I figure nail him to the wall. And in Hannityesque fashion, imply that the two doctors are his lovers.

  • Here’s Limbaugh on drug users, for anyone who thinks he deserves sympathy or wants to cut him some slack:

“Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up.”

  • Farinata X said, “On the contrary, if Limbaugh [does] have a serious problem with drugs, he should suffer like all the other people whose lives [have suffered because of the] policies he promotes . An appalling fucking hypocrite such as this piece of shit simply does not deserve the sympathy or the good wishes of anyone. Fuck him.”

With just a little editing, my sentiments exactly. Well said, F/X !! I couldn’t wish for a better (worse?) outcome for that particular Lying.Fucking.Bastard. May he have a Rush to judgment, too!

  • “It was customs officials that found it and he was arriving on an international flight. He was released without charge. What is the harm done?”

He wasn’t charged, but he was detained. And the news got out so of course he is publicly humiliated. Part of me like to see this happen to the blowhard. But it could just as easily be someone that I admire.

” It would be nothing for you or I to be detained at an airport, why is Rush above scrutiny.”

It sure as hell would! I’d be pissed as all get out.

Rush desreves more scrutiny than others but it shouldn’t be done by the government. That’s our job.

“If a beat cop pulls over a car full of teenagers and finds them in possession of all mommy and daddy’s powerful prescription narcotics, I’d expect them to do something about it.”

If the teenagers are drunk or high arrest them for that. If not, what business is it of the cop? He isn’t their parent. Is it unreasonable for the owners of the car to have their prescriptions on board.

“Limbaugh, who would scream for an entire afternoon if the same happened to a Democrat ”

That’s just the point. Who wants to be like Rush?!

  • Sorry, I agree with NeilS. Harassment, plain and simple. This is Viagra, for Chris sakes. And it’s nobody’s business to speculate about what evil things the man might be doing that causes his condition. Really now, we sound like the callers on right wing radio, piling on some character we don’t like.

So Limbaugh has ED. So what? Millions do. Thousands, maybe tens of thousands probably obtain it without prescription through the Internet. Nobody bothers them. It’s an embarrassing condition and it’s understandable that someone would want to obtain a prescription without going to a pharmacy where all the clerks smirk and chuckle when the poor guy picks it up. And why should it require a prescription in the first place? Don’t we overdo that in this country?

There’s enough on Limbaugh to sock him for legitimate reasons. Leave the poor guy’s personal problems out of the dialogue and give him a break. He’s still human.

  • He should be treated exactly the way he said other addicts should be treated. If he wasn’t such a hypocrite he’d demand he be treated that way.

  • OK. Rush Limbaugh is an asshole scumbag who should be shot for breathing into a microphone.

That said, let’s examine the issues of the case.

First, all jokes aside, Viagra can be a miracle drug in certain circumstances. It has enriched my life, and I am just turning 60.

Second, you can get pharmaceuticals for about 10-15 % of the price in South America for what you pay here for them. I got 100 mg Viagra knockoffs for a dollar a pill which would cost about $8 here. OK, Viagra is still on patent here. Same goes for cephalexin which ain’t. Foreign drugs are too dangerous? Well, you can go white water rafting, sky diving, and bongi cord jumping without government intervention, but good help you if you take an antibiotic made in India that hasn’t been baptized by Big Pharma.

When I was a school teacher in the Zuni Pueblo, NM, we would take drug runs for the teaching staff to Mexico, and I’m not talking MJ or coke. I’m talking the pills that are bankrupting the American public.

  • Rush is on double-super-secret probation for the doctor shopping charges. It’s likely that the customs agents were aware of that so it’s not surprising that they would scrutinize any prescription drugs Rush was bringing into the country. Seems perfectly ligitimate to me.

  • To me, the fact that he is travelling internationally with a variety of drugs tells me he still has an addiction. If he was jetting on down to the DR for a little sex party, he doesn’t need to carry-on a medicine cabinet’s worth of little blue pills. He brings what he needs and comes back empty, or has it waiting for him there. He’s on fucking probation, fer crissakes! He’s taking too many chances here. Something’s up.

Saving money on the pills should not be a moitvation for Limbaugh, he has hundreds of millions of dollars…(a fact that makes me want to puke).

  • Several have indicated that because the drug in question was Viagra he should get a pass. I completely disagree. In fact, I don’t think it matters what the medication was or who the person was at all. We have laws, rules and regulations that must be applied equally.

There is a large black market for drugs like these, so even though they are not some sort of addictive pain killer, it’s not like they should be ignored.

You go through customs with medications that legally don’t belong to you and you live with the consequences. Don’t absolve Rush of his responsibility.

  • Neil, you must be new here at TCR. It seems that you want to be left alone, as do we. But we want the laws to be enforced equally, regardless of one’s status or station in life. But that is NOT what Limbaugh advocates; he wants special rules for him, but not for others addicted to drugs because “….people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up …..” [see Comment #13 above for the full quote].

Why is it okay for the government to tell us how we can get abortions, or that it is okay legally prescribed prescriptions can be denied or medical insurance benefits can be denied because it violates someone’s sense of morality, or that the government can snoop into every aspect of my life but that I can’t even know who Dick Cheney talked to that resulted in me paying over $3.00 for one gallon of gasoline? These, and far too many to recite here, are things that too many of your fellow Rethugs (pardon me, “Repulicans”) support and force down America’s collective gullet, but survey after survey after survey show that America is clearly and emphatically opposed to the direction this country is going. Why is that?

If we have laws, they should be enforced. That goes for George Bush too, he of the 750+ “signing statements” — including the one banning cruel and inhuman practices, even in a time of war — where he has said, in effect, that these laws don’t apply to him. And the Rubber-Stamp Rethugs in the Congress won’t stand up to Bush, either, resulting in what is more or less a new “King George.”

When you start complaining about the do-nothing Rethug led Congress, when you start complaining about our rights being taken away — whether from Rush or Michael Moore or the Denver Three or Richard Mellon Scaife or the chroically ill who want to use home grown marijuana to relieve their pain and nausea — then, Neil, and only then, will I believe that you live by your espoused principle that it is not government’s job to enforce the drug laws. When you say that it is not government’s job to “parent” an underage teen who has possession of their parent’s controlled substances, I’ll believe you as soon as you tell me that it is wrong for government to tell schools they must teach I.D. in SCIENCE classes.

Until then, Neil, your feeble words are just more right-wing hypocricy. You favor public morality being encoded in our laws…. provided that it is YOUR version of morality. That is not how this country was founded, and it is not how this country has been governed for more that two centuries. We are not a theocracy…. yet. And we will only become one over my dead body.

  • The more interesting question is, what was Rush doing in the Dominican Republic with a bottle of Viagra?

  • So Rush Limp-boffer can’t get it up? He isn’t a real manly man?

I personally wish this drug-addled motherfucking sonofabitch would go fucking DIE of a socially-unacceptable sexual disease.

As to “harassment” – if what he does every day for three hours isn’t “harassment” of America, what is? What goes around comes around, Rush, you worthless piece of shit.

Sorry for the profanity, but sometimes those “Anglo-Saxonisms” are the only words that adequately describe how to feel about someone of whom it can be said the best part of him ran down his mother’s leg when she stood up and asked for the money.

  • I have been to about 5 sites and no one is commenting on the fact that Rush went to the Dominican Republic for a weekend with Viagra. Hello, they have the highest ratio of whores to citizens in the world. I bet there is some unfortunate peasant girl who could really use a prescription or two right now.

All kidding aside, this is silly. My doctor has cases of samples of Viagra and is only too happy to hand them out to anyone including myself (35). Let’s face it, people take it that don’t need it because man was not created (hasn’t evolved) into a 12 hour fucking machine, but that doesn’t mean from time to time he doesn’t want to be. Say what you want, there are plenty of ladies just as happy as men that Viagra has hit the streets.

Too bad male bravado still stigmatizes it’s use, cause there truly is no better time then getting you favorite girl, add some drinks, a little V, on a Friday night and get the freak of the week on until you collapse from utter exhaustion.

  • Hold on Analytical Liberal — I’ve been reading TCR for years; commenting almost as long.

I don’t know where you got your idea of me being some right wing nut. I’m a committee member of the Colorado Democratic party. I attend caucuses and assemblies. Yesterday I was out putting up campaign signs for the local Democratic candidate for the state house. I’m also campaigning for Angie Paccione in her attempt to unseat Marilyn Musgrave. During the Vietnam war I was a conscientioius objector and attended most of the anti war rallies in DC.

“I’ll believe you as soon as you tell me that it is wrong for government to tell schools they must teach I.D. in SCIENCE classes.”

ID???!!! I’m and effing astrogiologist and biogeochemist!! Where do you get these ideas aobut what I think? Check my website: http://biocycle.atmos.colostate.edu/~nsuits/

“Until then, Neil, your feeble words are just more right-wing hypocricy. You favor public morality being encoded in our laws…. provided that it is YOUR version of morality. That is not how this country was founded, and it is not how this country has been governed for more that two centuries. We are not a theocracy…. yet. And we will only become one over my dead body.”

I’m an atheist and for god’s sake!! As to public morailty I probably tend to the libertarian side.

In short, I don’t have to prove my bona fides to you. You’re really out of line and don’t know what you’re talking about.

  • Cost of drugs too high in the US for Rush, I wonder why?
What is an unmarried man of conservative values doing with viagra?
Does Rush exploit the third world sex trade?
and do his words match his deeds?
(“… And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up,”)

    All good questions.

  • ill leave one here if this drug can help other ppl to get it on with there life with out any physical problems I wud say ok. it is pretty hard when someone sex life goes down the tubes if they had other problems in there life I feel if something improves there life
I say go for it have a good life. women like being human to love
    someone keeps there life important

    Bonnejourney

  • What I find amusing is that Rush might be thrown in the slammer over this.

His little deal stated that he couldn’t be arrested at all for 18 months. As far as I know, it’s been all of four months since that little sweetheart deal (as we know the rich are oh so better than we mere plebes are.)

I wonder how he’s going to explain to the Dittoheads.
    1) What was he doing in the DR?
    2) Who was he doing in the DR?
    3) Why so many little blue pills?
    4) Why did he use the name of his doctor?

Or will he just say, er, uh, no comment…

  • I think it is perfectly reasonable for the TSA or Customs agents to look through your medication, especially if you are coming in from a foreign country and ESPECIALLY if you are coming from a country that is known for ,a href=”http://www.state.gov/p/inl/rls/nrcrpt/2006/vol1/html/62108.htm”>drug trafficking.

    The Dominican Republic (DR) is a major drug transit country from South America, with cocaine transiting to Europe, and both cocaine and heroin to the United States. During 2005, the DR increased seizures of large quantities of heroin, cocaine and MDMA(ecstasy);

  • “How did Bob Dole’s suitcase get on my airplane?” That’s what Rush had to say about the incident at the start of his show today. He’s ignoring/joking about it. Can’t say I blame him.

  • Why the sympathy, CB? Rush had his humility moment and struck a deal and he broke it. At this point, why shouldn’t they treat him like he fully expects law enforcement to treat people like him (ie drug addicts?)

Now, I certainly don’t advocate that law enforcement deal with drug addicts the way Rush advocates they should deal with them, because I do think drug laws in general are too harsh as it is, but I do advocate that law enforcement deal harshly with unrepentant drug addicts who also happen to be blowhard talk-show hosts who advocate harsh treatment of drug addicts. (Whew, good luck parsing that one!)

  • First Rush has a problem with mind-altering pain killers and now he is found with Viagra. The only conclusion that I can draw is that no matter whether he thinks with the big head or the little head his thinking is drug addled.

  • “Cost of drugs too high in the US for Rush, I wonder why?
What is an unmarried man of conservative values doing with viagra?
Does Rush exploit the third world sex trade?
and do his words match his deeds?” – kali

Oh, how the cubby have fallen.

Clearly, Rush is a Frat Boy conservative. The kind that think New Orleans should be rebuilt until all the strip clubs are restored, then we can stop. You know, like Boy George II.

Poor Rush desires all the harrashment they can dish out. Considering the suffering he and his dittoheads have inflicted on innocent Americans, he should be made to twist in the wind.

  • I basically agree with Neil and with Hark. This wasn’t the cops stopping a carload of teenagers high on narcotics. It was the federal freaking government going through someone’s personal luggage and looking at non-schedule pharmaceuticals in what presumably were quantities consistent with personal use.

Also, I presume that everyone knows there are differences in the amount of regulation and enforcement effort that are applied to various kinds of prescription drugs. Viagra is not covered under the Controlled Substances Act; in fact, it’s in the same category as an antibiotic like tetracycline. The government was only interested because it was in a pill bottle.

Oh, and the last time I checked, opposing the federal government’s use of drug laws to impinge on the personal liberties of citizens was not part of the right-wing manifesto. And, yes, I know that Rush Limbaugh is still a big fat idiot.

  • Two doctor’s names on the label…were there
two types of drugs in one container?

  • I think Pat and Baffled lady are touching on some unaddressed issues here. Has anyone actually checked the stuff in the bottle to confirm that it was really Viagra and not something else?

And since no actual carbon-based lifeform would ever willingly have sex with that mutant slimeweasel, farmers and ranchers should be put on alert to make sure their livestock are safely locked up at night.

Or it could just be hookers. You never know.

  • Ouch! Come on, everyone! One of the reasons I am a liberal is because the “me first and screw everyone else” philosophy of the Republicans makes me sick. All CB said was that he hopes Limbaugh gets the help he needs if he is indeed an addict. I feel the same way. I’ve seen addiction ruin lives. Everyone knows Limbaugh is walking excrement on legs, but if he’s an addict, he needs help and should get it. And if beats his addiction, we should be happy for him. Yes, the man is a hypocrite and a scumbag, but let’s not let our rage wash out our simple human decency. That sense of decency, I would submit, it what separates us from the right-wingers.

I am a liberal in part because so many conservatives are unfeeling, uncaring a-holes. Our views are superior because we rise above that. Hell, I’d even push Ann Coulter out of the way if I saw a truck barrelling down at her — well, I’d at least think about it.

  • Morbo — If I were the truck driver I’d probably swerve and take you both out. Sorry. Just another victim of collateral damage, I guess.

In any case, this story isn’t about addiction. So far as I know, Viagra isn’t addictive.

  • I’m still amazed that enforcement of US law would garner such outrage. Let’s review, the man enters the country with someone else’s prescription medications. That is, someone else’s name is on the bottle.

He reportedly states that they are for his use and that two doctors (one to write the prescription and one to provide a name – since you cannot prescribe medications for yourself) assisted him in this. If he is telling the truth, he and each of the doctors have each broken different laws. The doctors are also likely in breach of the conditions of their medical licenses and Rush is likely in breach of his existing agreement on similiar charges.

Now, why did he get caught? Because checking prescriptions is a standard customs procedure. It is a good cross check for identity, a clue for many ‘mule’ type tactics, and a common storage location for different types of contraband.

We could argue that we should have no border security at all. Or we could argue that all drugs should be over-the-counter, but I cannot see how anyone could survive the Bush administration and still think that picking and choosing when it comes to the rule of law is a good idea.

So, we have a man who claims to have used money and influence to obtain a little help for his tool under another’s name. He then took his private jet to the DR to exploit the poverty of young boys or girls in a particularly disgusting fashion (I know, unproven, but that is why nasty rich white men take viagra and private jets down to the DR). He then gets caught with an illegal prescription at customs and is held a few hours, presumably while his story of self bestowed priviledge is checked out.

Kidding aside, I’ll stick with my first thought. I don’t care if it was Rush, NeilS, or anyone else, I’m glad the culprit got caught. I’m glad the drug name was leaked to the press. And I wouldn’t lose a moments sleep if the detention was spent with a burly tatooed con nicknamed ‘Thunder Dick’ who gave the detainee the normal treatment reserved for child molestors in prison.

  • Interesting. The readers of this blog are a lot further to the right than I thought.

Viagra is not addicting. If it had been cipro, would CB saying that I hope you get help for your Cipro problem soon. Good luck.

Second the Medical/Big Pharma cartel has this country sewed up so we are paying huge amounts of our not so disposable income for health care. The average American wouldn’t know freedom if he fell in a pool of it. I want the freedom to medicate myself, if necessary, with reasonably price pharmaceuticals as I see fit. I don’t give a shit about Limbaugh’s limp dick.

  • PS

I hope that all of you holier than thou bastards who ever blew a joint get caught.

  • >Morbo — If I were the truck driver I’d probably swerve and take you both out. Sorry. Just another victim of collateral damage, I guess.

    Neil,

I’ll take one for the home team by hanging on to her. We’ll go to Hell together. We’ll know it’s really Hell because we’ll end up in the same room. Yuck!

  • Yes El Pollo, it is possible to be a progressive and still not be an anarchist.

If you want certain freedoms I think you should have the right to lobby for them. But if the majority of us think that society is a lot safer without a ‘self medicated’ you operating, say, a school bus or an airplane, I don’t mind that being enforced.

I only have a problem when such things are selectively enforced (as in you, prison, Rush, wrist slap and repeat offense).

    -jjf

  • What’s that expression about a scandal being caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy. Who knows what Rush did (or who he did) on his little sex junket to the tropics. This little episode does take another chink out of his armor and tarnishes his holier than thou halo. It’l be fun if gets on supermarket tabloid covers for a while. Heard any good Rush LimpDick jokes lately?

  • Well, there’s the one about Rush’s limp dick meeting O’Reilly’s flaming falafel of doom in mortal combat but it’s probably just a rumor so never mind.

  • Good for you Morbo. If I find myself in a similar position I’ll do the same. But you’re right. Yuck!

I seem to recall an interesting photo of the Veep that Wonkette was pushing a while back. I’ll bet that Dick told Rush about how well Viagra works.

Looks like Bob Dole will have some competition for Viagra spokesman in the future.

  • “Yes El Pollo, it is possible to be a progressive and still not be an anarchist.

Bogus argument, Fitz. Most countries in the world allow people to walk into pharmacies and purchase non-narcotic drugs. This enhances competition and keeps prices down. Advocating this doesn’t make one a bomb throwing anarchist (though six years of Bushco can make this tempting). And in those countries where you may walk into a pharmacy and purchase non-narcotic pharmaceuticals, there are regulations which prohibit the driving of commercial vehicles while under the influence of mind altering substances. For better or worse, their penalties for narcotics possession and use are more stringent than in the USA.

Fitz, you label yourself a progressive, but you argue like a rethug.
