Well, the weekend is already over. I just wanted to thank you all for your kind welcome and for some great comments to my posts. It’s always such a pleasure to blog here, and, of course, a big thank you as well to the Carpetbagger, too.

I invite you all to come visit The Reaction. I do most of the blogging there, but I have a great group of co-bloggers and guest bloggers who contribute regularly, and we generally put up around 6-8 posts a day on a diverse range of topics in U.S. politics, foreign affairs, international politics, popular culture, philosophy, and the arts. You’re more than welcome to join in with comments, too.

Anyway, thanks again. It’s been fun.

And now… back to the Carpetbagger.

I hope you’ll be able to tell CB we were very well behaved, paid attention and didn’t pass notes or throw paper airplanes.

The last edition was #49. You know what that means. Assclowns of the Week #50: The Golden Edition is up. This time around, the Jurassic One goes for broke and pillories not ten, not fifteen, not twenty but the top twenty-five assclowns of the past week (alright, week and a half, but I’ve been busy, lately).

Considering the sheer bulk of material, only 25-14 are featured tonight, with 13-1 making their appearance tomorrow. So be there or be Republican.

Paul Krugman’s advice to the Democrats on their impending majority in the House: Don’t Make Nice. Time advice, especially since “Speaker” Nancy Pelosi just took impeachment off the table.

BUSH: The true history of my presidency won’t be reflected until way after I’m gone.

You mean like written by my grandkids who will be struggling to pay off the enormous national debt you created? Methinks you will prefer the CURRENT history being written about you, you dimwit.
