“I did not refer to [Al Franken] as Joseph Goebbels; that was Michael Moore.”
Bill O’Reilly, 12 days ago:
“Joseph Goebbels was the Minister of Propaganda for the Nazi regime and whose very famous quote was, ‘If you tell a lie long enough, it becomes the truth’…And that’s what Stuart Smalley [O’Reilly refers to Al Franken as Stuart Smalley, Franken’s played on Saturday Night Live], and Michael Moore and all of these guys do.”
I wonder if the irony — lying about accusing Franken of lying — is lost on O’Reilly.
