About a month ago, after the Dems unveiled their domestic [tag]policy[/tag] [tag]agenda[/tag] for 2007, I suggested that Republicans do the same. After all, voters should know about the parties’ legislative priorities for the future before they vote in November, and right now, the [tag]GOP[/tag] appears reluctant to put forward any specific ideas on anything.
Even in the short term, it’s not altogether clear what congressional [tag]Republicans[/tag] want to do with their power. Now there’s proof that the “party of ideas” is directionless.
Mike Gehrke noticed yesterday that House Majority Leader [tag]John Boehner[/tag] (R-Ohio) has created a section on his leadership webpage devoted exclusively to the issues the GOP caucus is committed to working on.
Take a look; it tells us all we need to know about the sad state of the GOP.
