I’ll try to fill CB’s shoes again tonight with today’s roundup of quick links:
- The “Obama plagiarized” meme seems to have survived two news cycles, so it may not go away soon.
- Democrats generally get grilled on how they will pay for certain domestic programs. Thinkprogress is wondering how John McCain plans to pay for all those tax cuts, since no one seems to be asking him.
- There’s a time warp happening over at the National Review, where Lisa Schiffren seems to think that interracial marriage in the 60s was the result of Communist leanings. John Cole responds. Me too.
- SurveyUSA has it getting tighter in Ohio.
- Obama seems to have lost his substantial lead in the Daily Gallup tracking poll since yesterday.
- Castro may be out, but his clique is still in.
- Juan Cole thinks the election results in Pakistan could be promising.
- Talking Points Memo won a Polk Award for their coverage of the U.S. Attorney scandal. Like Wolverine, they’re the best at what they do.
- Cavuto says Hillary Clinton is trying to get away from her “bitchy” image. I actually think Cavuto is the one who could use a hand or two in that direction.
- I hope someone takes the shutting down of Wikileaks to court. Is it just me or are corporations the only ones with individual rights these days?
