An interesting set of documents were released today by the Pentagon relating to Bush’s alleged service in the National Guard in the 1970s. I haven’t finished reading them yet, but there’s one thing that stands out before even reading the first word: today’s date.
Tell me what all of these dates have in common, including today’s:
* The Associated Press, September 24, 2004 — Pentagon Releases More Bush Guard Papers
* The Associated Press, September 17, 2004 — Newly released guard records contain letter from President Bush’s father
* The Associated Press, July 23, 2004 — Pentagon finds, releases Bush’s 1972 Guard payroll records
* The Associated Press, July 9, 2004 — Pentagon acknowledges some Bush Guard records destroyed
* The Associated Press, February 13, 2004 — Bush orders White House release of military records
