When bad things happen to bad people

You’ll forgive me for my schadenfreude-induced smile, but this non-political story was too good to pass up.

The KKK was holding an initiation ceremony recently in Johnson City, Tenn., when a participant, 45-year-old Gregory Allen Freeman, fired his pistol towards the sky.

Well, what goes up must come down, and the next thing you know the guy who’s being initiated, 24-year-old Jeffery Murr, gets hit by the very bullet fired from Freeman’s gun. In fact, Murr was critically injured as the bullet traveled through his skull.

Freeman, meanwhile, has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment (two children were on hand for the KKK ceremony).

I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
