WMD finally turn up, but not in Iraq

I have good news and bad news in the search for elusive weapons of mass destruction. The good news is that we’ve finally found some and they are safely out of the hands of would-be terrorists. The bad news is we found them in Texas and the would-be terrorists are remarkably well-armed white supremacists.

Reports out of Texas are noting that three people with ties to white supremacist and anti-government groups are in federal custody. Investigators have seized bombs, bomb components, machine guns, and 500,000 rounds of ammunition, but far more importantly, the group also had at least one chemical weapon — a sodium cyanide bomb capable of delivering a deadly gas cloud.

This is really scary stuff. It’s not bad enough we have to worry about al Queda regrouping; we have home-grown terrorists with WMD to fear.
